Rupa’s Realm Sauna Crew runs the wood fired sauna, showers and the relax and nourish chill out areas in Rupa’s Realm. Typically this would involve; meet and greet at reception, cleaning and maintaining the showers and saunas, chopping wood, tending the fires, keeping the Realm clean and tidy and doing everything we can to make sure visitors leave feel relaxed, and revived.
You’d be asked to do two three hour shifts per day, either in one block of six hours or two separate blocks of three hours each between 7am and 1am.
The main body of the work would be during the festival itself from Wednesday 12 July - Sunday 16 July but Sauna Crew would need to be on site from Saturday 8 to help with set up and commit to stay until Monday 17 when we open the Realm to everyone that’s worked during the festival.
In return we’ll give you free entrance to the festival, camping pitch and/or live in parking, the opportunity to be part of a positive ‘right livelihood’ community, breakfast, lunch and dinner and snacks, meditation, yoga, dharma discussions and talks, fun games, fires and songs ….
All Buddhafield events are free from recreational drugs and alcohol
We don’t wish to judge people’s views on this — and hope it won’t put you off applying. If this would be a new way of experiencing a festival for you then why not give it a try?
However, please bear in mind that if you choose to apply to work with us and are accepted, then we expect this policy to be respected.
